FREE Entertainment

Watching this crop duster do his twists and turns UNDER the electrical wires this morning, kept the kids entertained for at least an hour!! This all took place over the corn feilds next to and across from our property. How's that for free entertainment? can't beat it!!

Summer Fun!!

The kids are having a ball this summer on our new water slide! It sure helps me and Greg endure the 90+ degree temps too! We are loving this purchase!

Karate Camp June 07

Last week the 3 oldest kids all attended karate camp. They loved it. Tristan was sad at every drop off that he couldn' t go b/c he "knows karate" as you can see from his photo. What you can't see is the loud "hayah!" that went with it. On the last day, they did a presentation of what they'd learned and then each of them got to break a board. That was really fun to see and they had a ball doing it! This was their most favorite camp ever!!

Running??? What????

If you'd have told me a year ago I'd be running, I'd have thought you crazy!!! But, as I recently had to write down my age, I realized I was going to be 39 this year.... that is way too close to 40.. HELLO!!! So, it was time for drastice measures! I am in week 3 of the Couch to 5K program and surprisingly loving it. :) This past weekend I ran in a 1 mile fun run with some friends. Greg was really proud and took this photo before I left. My time was nothing to brag about, but hey, I ran!!! Me.... the one who always swore she hated running and would never do it!! ever.

Makes me think of my mom saying "never say never".
